After giving it a try for about a year, I’ve officially reverted from Microsoft OneNote back to Evernote. Reasons: (1) OneNote was/is painfully slow opening up notebooks, (2) it doesn’t allow any sort of subfolder organization of notebooks, and (3) the app on macOS is essentially crippleware (worse than the online version). If you don’t know what I’m talking about, you owe it to yourself to give Evernote a try. It’s essentially a digital life organization tool sans pictures and video.

Retro-computing
Spent some time checking out retro computing articles. Brought back fond memories of “hacking” systems by writing my own sector 0 BOOT loader. Good times, but man am I old! And yes, the statute of limitations applies to anything I might allegedly have been involved with back in the 80’s.
Battery issues
This article only mentions the iPhone; but, I would bet $$ that Apple is dogging tablets as well. A few year old iPad is now essentially useless due to it’s snail pace even after a factory reset + OS upgrade. https://gizmodo.com/how-to-tell-if-your-iphone-battery-is-screwed-and-what-1821554872
Photo cloud storage options
An excellent article comparing options out there for cloud-based photo and video storage. Comments pretty much mirror my own experiences. My personal favorites are Flickr and SmugMug due to their extreme cost efficiency for large number of RAW photos. http://www.theverge.com/2013/8/29/4560364/best-cloud-storage-photo-apps
