Watching Google I/O live. Amazon made a huge impact with their Echo (aka Alexa). But Google isn’t going down without a fight. They’re ramping Google Assistant up with “Google Lens” to combine both audio/voice context with image recognition. The demo is showing some amazing stuff on the way. Just goes to show… when giants truly compete, the customer wins.
