Watching Google I/O live. Amazon made a huge impact with their Echo (aka Alexa). But Google isn’t going down without a fight. They’re ramping Google Assistant up with “Google Lens” to combine both audio/voice context with image recognition. The demo is showing some amazing stuff on the way. Just goes to show… when giants truly compete, the customer wins.

Win10 teething problems
Nothing but problems since upgrading to Windows 10. Although the user interface is much nicer than 7 and worlds better than the piece of garbage 8.x, I highly advise against upgrading for now. My guess is that it’s an upgrade issue as virtually all the chatter re: problems with W10 seem to relate to upgrades.
