Happy to say that I didn’t buy a single thing on Black Friday; nor, have I even acknowledged the existence of xmas before enjoying Thanksgiving. Shove all this holiday commercialization.

Public service bulletin
If you own a desktop computer older than 3 years and have never cleaned it, do so now before it bites the dust… literally. Note… this puppy ain’t mine. It died via thermal shutdown about 30 minutes after power on. Recoverable…TBD.
Win10 teething problems
Nothing but problems since upgrading to Windows 10. Although the user interface is much nicer than 7 and worlds better than the piece of garbage 8.x, I highly advise against upgrading for now. My guess is that it’s an upgrade issue as virtually all the chatter re: problems with W10 seem to relate to upgrades.
