Got home, reached in to grab my Mac Book Pro out of my bag and it literally scalded me (had to run my hand under cold water). Evidently it didn’t sleep properly when I closed the lid and it just sat in the bag cooking. Lucky it didn’t catch anything on fire. Can only imagine the heat damage to the battery and circuit boards. It seems to be working as I type, but who knows for how long. One would think that the bios would have something in it to shut the damn thing down due to thermal even if the OS software is locked up. Nice job Apple.
