The problem with the MDX turned out to be a bad after market cable installed by Sears when I replaced the battery a few years ago. It had enough connection to register 12.x volts on the multi-meter at the fuse box, but not enough to carry the amperage necessary to run the car. What a $%!& to diagnose. I am very VERY relieved that it isn’t some more deviously hidden electrical problem and/or the main computer itself blown. The actual culprit was discovered just prior to towing it to the shop.
