Recent hacking including the Target incident (that I wasn’t caught up in) incentivized me to become much more serious about online password security. Going into my secure password file, I discovered that I had over 200 online accounts registered. Large chunks of these accounts either used the same password or some slight variation thereof. I put about 3 hours of effort into it and now have totally unique passwords for every single online account out there. If I ever loose my secure password file I am totally screwed, but otherwise feel a tiny bit better about my online footprint. How secure are you?
