Got rid of a 10+ year old junk receiver and entered the modern world of AV/HDMI. A full afternoon later stringing 10,000 cables and programming the Logitech universal remote, it’s a slick setup. Even the wife approves of the purchase! She especially loves the graphical on-screen iPod feature.
If you are a Mac user, Fantastical is truly worth the purchase price. The key is it’s ability to let you create new appointments through free form typing, i.e. “Dinner with wife December 20 at 7pm”.
