Since I would be taking a trip to visit relatives, I put the printer to work cranking out a few fun toys to play with and as painting projects for my 9-year old grand niece.
One toy we had a ton of fun with at the park was this whirlybird gizmo. It was fully 3D printed except for the two 820 skate bearings. I was able to print out a bunch of blades, which we painted a ton of colors and then zipped them up in the air at the park. If you pulled the rip chord hard, it sailed the blades 50+ feet in air or something like 100′ away if angled. Pretty powerful for a home made plastic toy!
