Similar to the old Blu-ray vs. HD-DVD battle, we now seem to be in the middle of a Flash vs. HTML5 battle for video. The reality is that Flash is riddled with security issues. However, currently most browsers do and extremely poor job of dealing with HTML5 for video playback. I tried embedding a simple MP4 video via HTML5 in my WordPress blog and was only able to play it back on on Safari reliably. Microsoft, Google and Mozilla need to get with the bloody program! For now, Flash remains the single most reliable method of delivering streaming video content.

TPS packaging is a curse
I freaking HATE nasty hard ABS plastic packaging. It’s not only about the worst thing for our environment and oceans; but, I seem to cut myself on it’s sharp edges every single bleeding time I open something (pun intended). Please manufactures, move away from the nasty stuff.
